In case you missed it, recently we announced some fantastic Milwaukee Artists have jumped on our team as Associate Artists. What that means is they’ve worked with us on at least two productions and would like to hang around more and help The Constructivists continue to move in an upward trajectory. Maya Danks, Liz Ehrler, Rebekah Farr, and Kellie Wambold are just the start of of bigger things to come, and here’s where you can see a couple of them this weekend:
Maya Danks (she/her) (THE NETHER, WOMEN LAUGHING ALONE WITH SALAD, BABEL) just opened a 75-minute State Park touring production of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING by William Shakespeare with Summit Players Theatre. Tonight they’re in the Richard Bong State Recreation Area in Kenosha, and tomorrow travel to High Cliff State Park in Sherwood. She’ll be performing SEVERAL roles including Leonato, Don John, Ursula. Happy Opening, Maya! More at summitplayerstheatre.com.
Kellie Wambold (she/her) (THE PILLOWMAN, TO FALL IN LOVE) has a ONE WEEKEND ONLY event starting tonight out at Lake Country Playhouse out in Hartland. She’s part of the cast for a staged reading of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron and you only have three chances to see her. More at lakecountryplayhousewi.org. Happy Opening (and Closing), Kellie!
Now get out there and see some theatre.
