HERE THEY ARE!
We are excited and thrilled to announce the cast of or virtual theatre adventure Women Laughing Alone with Salad, by Sheila Callaghan! Rob Schreiner, now in his third Constructivists production (Gruesome Playground Injuries, The Pillowman), will bring the role of Guy to life. Liz Ehrler has worked with director Jaimelyn Gray on other projects, but this is her first as an actor for The Constructivists. She’ll bring Meredith to the virtual theatre near you. Having been impressed with Paige Bourne (Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Summer Stage of Delafield) in the audition room for quite some time, the casting team is thrilled to finally have her on a Constructivists team as Tori in “Women Lauging.” And last but not least, we are ecstatic to have a “new in town” talent like Sabra Michelle (Riverside Center, Fredricksburg, Va; Broward Stage Door Theatre, Broward, FL) with us as Sandy.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! “Women Laughing” will now show virtually Wednesday, September 30th to Sunday, October 4, 2020, one weekend later than originally scheduled. Inspired by the strangely ubiquitous advertising trend of picturing attractive women blissfully eating salad, award-winning playwright Sheila Callaghan breaks all the rules of our image-obsessed culture in "Women Laughing Alone With Salad." This raw comedy is served with a side of feminism and tossed with audacious imagery, biting social critique, and devastating humor. 17+ Recommended.
